SWAYWO is the annual student-run conference of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education!
This year, SWAYWO will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2024, in the Fisher Conference Center of the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center at Stanford University. The event will kick off promptly at 9 a.m. and close by 4:30 p.m. Please arrive for check-in and breakfast at 8:30 a.m.!

- Hear from a superstar Keynote Speaker, Eduardo R Muñoz-Muñoz, PhD (a SWAYWO founder!)
- Listen and learn from conference sessions on a variety of topics
- Participate in workshops on the topics of Grant Writing and Systematic Reviews
- Aquire knowledge and advice from invited speaker, Victoria Delaney, on the topic of Navigating the Job Search
Community Building
Foster an active and authentic community of emerging scholars and professionals.
- Engage in meaningful conversation with students, faculty, alumni, and affiliated community members
- Visit our day-long booths to learn more from our community, featuring the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking and the GSE Makery (who will be helping attendees create NFC Business Cards!)
- Support peer presenters and learn from their research
- Enjoy a post-event Milestone Celebration sponsored by the Dean’s Office
